TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By proceeding with the reservation, you accept and agree with The Dune House, Merzouga, Morocco (Guest House) that the resevation, if accepted by us, shall be on the terms and conditions as follows:

 

RATES AND DEPOSIT

 

-The rates quoted are based on your period of stay. Rates are subject to change as a result of changes in your arrival and/or departure dates. 

-Rates quoted are in Moroccan Dirham (MAD)
-Rate is for 1,2,3 or 4 adults only. 

• The maximum number of guests per room is either 2 adults unless adding an extra bed for 3 adults (only available in certain rooms ). A 1000MAD fee will be charged for each additional adult secretly staying in the rooms.

• A deposit is required at the time of booking and is mentioned during the booking process. 

• In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, The Dune House reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the resevation at its discretion, and will contact you directly in order to do so.

 

ELIGABLE AGE FOR CHECK-IN 

 

-You must be atlas 18 year sof age to check-in and register for a room. 

 

NON SMOKING POLICY 

 

-Guests are only allowed to smoke on the terrace, patio and outdoor areas of the premises, a cleaning fee penalty of MAD 1500 will be charged if rule is broken. 

 

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME

 

-Check in time if from 3:00pm and check out time is by 12:00pm

• A valid government issued identification or passport is required at check-in. 

 

EARLY ARRIVAL AND LATE DEPARTURE

 

-Should you arrive at the house prior to the normal check in time, staff will try to accommodate you. If arriving early, you are also advised to consider making a reservation for the evening prior to your arrival. 

-Late check-outs are available on request and are subject to room availability and occupancy level. Please check with a member of staff atlas 24 hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room charge may be incurred for late check-out between 12pm to 6pm. 

 

 

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENTS

 

-We accept cash: Moroccan Dirhams or Euros. 

-We do not accept: Any types of cheques (including traveler cheques)

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

• Cancellation of and/or amendments to your reservation must be made well in advance prior to your arrival date.

• Cancellations of bookings that fall during the high season (Dec 15->Jan 5: Christmas, New Years Eve & Mar 15->Apr 30: Spring School Holiday/Easter holiday) made 6 weeks or more before the check in date are free and the deposit is fully refunded, if the booking is cancelled in less than 6 weeks, a cancellation fee of one night’s room charge (inclusive of any applicable prevailing government tax).

• Cancellations of bookings that fall during the low season (Month of Ramadan, May 30 -> Jul 15,  Sep 1->Oct 1) made 2 days or more before the check in date are free and the deposit is fully refunded, if the booking is cancelled in less than 2 days, a cancellation fee of one night’s room charge (inclusive of any applicable prevailing government tax).

• Cancellations of bookings that don’t fall during the seasons mentioned above, made 1 week or more before the check in date are free and the deposit is fully refunded, if the booking is cancelled in less than 1 week, a cancellation fee of one night’s room charge (inclusive of any applicable prevailing government tax).

 

 

GROUP RESERVATIONS

 

-For reservations for groups of 6 persons and above, please email The Dune House at dunehouse2018@gmail.com 

 

FURTHER INFORMATION 

 

-You may unsubscribe to any such email at any time upon receipt of the said email. 

-The Dune House reserves the right to evict any additional occupants in the room. No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed without the consent and planning of The Dune House management. 

 

GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

-By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by us, your stay subsequently shall be subject to The Dune House standard terms and conditions of stay. 

-The Dune House, may at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete. 

-The House shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 

-You shall indemnify and hold The Dune House harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising our of, and/or in connection with the with the acceptance of the reservation by the House.

-The House shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by The Dune House. 

-The reservation and the terms and conditions set out hereto shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Morocco.
